At Momma's Safe Haven, we pride ourselves on creating great relationships and new opportunities in terms of partnerships and sponsors. We strive to create a better community which requires teamwork and collaboration, so up above are some of our wonderful sponsors and partners that help us carry out our goals by coming together as we make a difference.
Our Founder
As a native Washingtonian, Founder Beverly F. Smith is dedicated to giving back to her community. She was raised in the southeast section of the city in a low income single parent home. She has experienced all of the lows that comes with living in a drug infested community.
At the age of 16 Beverly found herself in a physically abusive relationship and by the age of 19 she had 3 children. Looking at all of the odds being against her she decided to go back to school to further her education. She has created this organization in hopes of gathering like minded people together to make a positive difference in our community one event at a time.
