ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

As a native Washingtonian, Founder Beverly F. Smith-Brown is dedicated to giving back to her community.  She was raised in the southeast section of the city in a low income single parent home.  She has experienced all of the lows that comes with living in a drug infested community.  At the age of 16 Beverly found herself in a physically abusive relationship and by the age of 19 she had 3 children.  Looking at all of the odds being against her she decided to go back to school to further her education.  She has created this organization in hopes of gathering like minded people together to make a positive difference in our community one event at a time.

If you or someone you know would like to volunteer at one of our events please feel free to contact us @ 202-903-5122.
