Washington DC is home to some of the most talented individuals in the world and the cost is too expensive to fly out to LA or NY to make it in the film industry.  #DCFILMLIFE is a platform for local filmmakers, actors, actresses, and others to create our own #DCHOLLYWOOD it is the goal of our program to expose the participants to the possibilities of working in the film industry.

We will be offering acting workshops, script writing courses, web series seminars, set design, styling, make up and production.

This will also give our community a voice and a platform to display and preserve our authentic DC culture.  This program is opened for all ages and gender with the purpose of bridging the social gap in our village.

#DCFILMLIFE is a program that operates every Thursday 5pm-7pm at Douglas Knolls Apartments 3331 22nd Street SE Washington, DC 20020.

Acting Workshops will be hosted by Adiyb Muhammad, Film Production workshops by Bruce Brown and screenwriting workshops by Beverly Smith.
